“Weeds and Wheat”

Jesus describes the bountiful multiplication of weeds and wheat alike, suggesting that each will prove to be what it really is at harvest. God’s love transcends wheat and weed alike. That is an expansive love! Read again the parable of weeds: neither barn nor hearth is a judgment but a matter of fruitful completion.
