Luke 2:21-40
“Unreasonable Hope, As Promised”
This week, we join Anna and Simeon in meeting Jesus when he is brought to the temple by Joseph and Mary. Anna and Simeon, who have dedicated their lives and hopes to God, realize the import of the tiny baby. God has kept the promise of a Messiah that will change the world. Sometimes, we only get a hint of what is to come, and that is enough to reinforce our faith.
