Learn About Sound Space

Through generous grants with the Great Northern District Union and New and Vital Congregations as well as valuable partnerships with the City of Colusa, Stagehands Theater, and the Colusa County Arts Council, Sound Space will continue making more music in Colusa in 2024-2025.

Sound Space partners with the leaders of Colusa schools, teachers, musicians, and arts organizations to extend low-cost, high-quality music education beyond our schools. Sound Space provides children of Colusa, who are drawn to the power and beauty of music, a safe, after-school activity.

Our seven-week pilot program aimed at 4th and 5th graders at Egling School was a tremendous success! Our Sunday Matinee performance on April 14st was well attended. Our Performing Arts Summer Camp brought in children ages 5-12 as well as enthusiastic high school youth leaders and volunteers from the commuity.
