“Heirs”
We spent the Easter season asking who, exactly, is Jesus Christ. Sunday we begin a new sermon series that will take us into summer, “Letters from Paul.” Through these letters, we will learn more about the Apostle Paul and the meaning Paul made of Jesus Christ.
Paul’s letters to various Christian communities comprise the earliest writings of our Christian Bible, predating even the Gospels. “Letters from Paul” will explore Paul’s thinking and convictions. Our sermon series will consider scripture from Romans, 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians, Philemon, Philippians, 1 Thessalonians, and Galatians. We will also touch on Ephesians.
June 16 to July 7 we will enjoy a light, 4-week study to help ground our understanding of the Apostle Paul after Sunday service in the parlor. Materials will be provided and you are welcome to drop into any or all studies.
