“Incarnation”
“Whoever eats of this bread will live for ever; and the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.” -John 6:51
Jesus doubles down on his statement that he is the bread of life. Even the manna in the wilderness, given by God, was not as eternally sustaining. Living bread is different. The bread of life, God in flesh and bone, is the incarnation that nourishes us eternally. Join us Sunday to explore the implication of these difficult words of Jesus.
