“Guarding the Sheep”

We move into the beginning of Eastertide’s period of understanding. There is a distance between life-upending events and figuring out “what now.” This week, we will consider who Jesus is and what it means for him to be the shepherd and the gate in a post-resurrection world. What does it mean for us to be sheep that travel through the narrow gate, and how is this gate the source of life? How does a time of narrowing prepare us for aliveness?
