DESCRIPTION:Study of Exodus\nReturn to the original liberation story\, Exodus.\nOctober 27th – November 17th Sundays 11 am\, Parlor \nWe are about to head into a year focused on the Gospel of Luke. The author of Luke understands the message of Jesus as the radically inclusive story of liberation. So\, let’s return to the original liberation story\, Exodus.    \n\nExodus explains the origins of Israel as a nation. That story includes enslavement\, wilderness times\, a covenant with God\, laws for living\, and a new life of freedom. Exodus establishes national identity and provides a framework for life under God’s care. It is a powerful story of hope and self-determination. Its patterns echo through Isaiah\, Luke\, and our Wesleyan understanding of grace.    \n\nDrop in for any or all of our four Sunday studies. Each study is about 45 minutes long. Discussion pages are provided each week.    \n\nWe will meet in the lounge at Trinity following coffee hour on Sunday mornings. (511 Oak Street\, Colusa) Anyone may attend regardless of religious background\, belief\, Christian experience\, or church affiliation. Enjoy a lively discussion and snacks.
