DESCRIPTION:We say “Jesus Saves!” but what does that mean? How does Jesus save us\, and what is He saving us from? Across 2\,000 years\, the Christian church has come up with several different theories of atonement and salvation. \nWhich one is right?\nThough different groups of Christians have their favorite theories\, all the ideas we will discuss are validated by scripture and have been considered “orthodox” by major Christian traditions and institutions. \nWhich one(s) bring you closer to Christ?\nThis is the real question. \nDrop in for one or all of our studies about Jesus’s saving grace. Each study is about 45 minutes long. Discussion pages are provided. \nWe will meet in the parlor at Trinity following coffee hour on Sunday mornings. (511 Oak Street\, Colusa) Anyone may attend regardless of religious background\, belief\, Christian experience\, or church affiliation. Enjoy a lively discussion and snacks.
