“Begin at the End”
Today marks our entry into a new Christian year and the season of anticipation, Advent. We will celebrate each week, marking the cycle of Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love and Faith. Our sanctuary is beautifully decorated. Our minds are on Christmas. Join us as we begin again with the story of the coming of Jesus. This week’s lectionary reading starts us at the end of Matt, reminding us to remain awake in hopeful anticipation, despite not knowing the date or time of our renewal.
