Who is this Jesus? Who is this Christ? This week we wrap our six-week exploration of these themes in Luke’s retelling of Jesus’ journey on the road. We’ve met many facets of Jesus: the Christ, the social reformer, the wisdom teacher, the apocalyptic prophet, and the Savior. All of these facets are even before the experience of the risen Christ! This week we consider how Jesus transcends the human categories, and people move beyond neat categories as well.
