Matthew 28:1-10

“Easter Sunday”

“Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for he has been raised.”   -Matt 28:5b-6a

Do not be afraid! In Easter Sunday’s scripture, the command is given not once but twice– do not be afraid! We have passed through Lent and into Eastertide, a season of joy and confusion. Resurrection is an audacious claim. It’s a claim that matters in world-changing ways. Easter Sunday holds up a truth, both irrational and obvious; the end is never the end. We do not need to be afraid.

Join us 10:00am Sunday for a joyful, music-filled service celebrating the resurrection of our Lord.
