This is our last week marinating in the words of Luke, soaking up the lessons of Jesus recounted in chapters ten, eleven, and twelve of his gospel. This Sunday, we consider the story of the brother who asks Jesus to order his brother to pay out his share of the inheritance, and the parable of the rich farmer who saves his grain to ensure a pleasant future but dies before he can experience the peace he seeks.
