Again, this week we consider the cost of being a student of Jesus. Our story today finds people assuming the best seats and places of honor. Jesus cautions his listeners not to be so sure about themselves. We are invited to ask why we think we deserve, or don’t deserve, places of honor in this world and what is the point of all this comparison.
