“Outside Chance”
This week, guest preacher Elizabeth Yerxa explores our lectionary selection from Mark. Jesus commands the unhelpful spirit that has taken hold of a man to leave him. What has taken hold of you? We can be tethered by evil but, more often, slip into a binding complacency. Christ commands us to be made free. No matter how much we have grown, there is a fuller experience of the Kingdom and ourselves beyond the one that we comfortably know.
