“Intros and Announcements”
We have reached Epiphany Sunday! Two Gospel readings, one near Jesus’ birth in Bethlehem and the other at Jesus’ baptism in the river Jordan, frame up the identity of a man whose ministry would change the world. As the Son of God, Jesus had a special work. We have special work to do, too! We are each invited by grace to understand ourselves as children of God, entrusted with sacred and important lives, extending the love of Christ into our family and community.
