This is our third of five weeks marinating in the words of Luke, soaking up the lessons of Jesus recounted in chapters ten, eleven, and twelve of his gospel. This Sunday, we are led back into the story of Martha, one of the earliest deacons of the church, and her sister Mary. Both are devout, but one is learning at the feet of Jesus while the other is bogged down in admin tasks.
