We continue to hold the words of three Prophets, Hosea, Isaiah, and Jeremiah, in conversation with the words of Matthew. Of all our Gospel writers, Matthew works most intentionally to tie the stories of Jesus into the larger Jewish tradition and the Hebrew Bible. This week are are considering Isaiah.
