“Unlikely Disciple”

Jesus asks Matt the Tax Collector to be his disciple. The hemorrhaging woman touches Jesus’ cloak and is healed. Jesus raises the young daughter from the dead. Whew! There is a lot going on in this passage. Again and again, we see Jesus in the world seeking, teaching, and healing those burdened and cast aside without qualification.
