“Tussle with God”
God is always aware of our slightest thought, so why does Jesus suggest our prayer life should resemble the persistence and tenacity of the old woman annoying the corrupt judge into action?
We begin a new series, “God with God.” Over these next few weeks Jesus instructs us to pray with persistence and effort- to the point of being annoying, to be honest with ourselves before God- to the point of most profound humility, and to live the truth of just reversal- to the point where we finally understand we are called by the living God to boldly love our enemies because everyone is someone’s enemy. Persistence in prayer, humility, and love of all. This is what it means to Go with God.
