“Six Sigma”

Jesus says to give to Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s, but doesn’t the whole world belong to God? This week, we are again asked to wrestle with a logic puzzle that calls into question who we think God is in a sermon series called “Riddle Me This.” We join Jesus as authorities try to trip him up. Their question about paying taxes asks Jesus to walk the line between political reality and religious integrity. That is a question we all must answer: How do you deal with systems that require your compliance but run counter to your values?
