Luke 16:1-13

“Faithful with What Belongs to Another”

This week we meet Jesus as a wisdom teacher. The man who turns over the vendors’ tables at the temple here appears to praise a corrupt employee! The dishonest manager is complimented by his own employer for his cheating slyness! This parable is the tricky story of a wisdom teacher- wrongheaded on the surface but internally sound when approached sideways.
