Learn About Oak & 5th Interviews

Trinity hosts the Senior Spread lunch in Colusa twice a month. We recognized that there is a great deal of living wisdom in that room that should be shared. We are seeking local teens to help us by interviewing seniors and working with us to create podcast episodes of some of those interviews to share with the wider community. All training is provided.

We are just starting! Season one is tentatively planned to begin April of 2027.

Volunteers and Partners Needed

Are you a high school student interested in participating in a living history project and learning podcasting, journalism, and storytelling skills? Are you looking for a special project for scouts, a senior project, or something similar?

Are you a senior citizen interested in sharing your experiences and wisdom?

Are you a community member interested in funding or donating high-quality lapel microphones, monthly podcasting costs, or audio recording and editing software?

Do you have skills you would like to share? Would you like to help us build a dedicated studio recording space for Colusans?

Help and interest are appreciated! Please contact Pastor Molly Knappen (colusatumc@gmail.com) for more info or to offer assistance.
